Once you have been assigned a task in Microsoft Planner, there are several things you can do to help keep everyone aware of your progress.
- Click on the task to open it.
- Change the progress status to reflect where you are at with the task.
- Further down the task card you can check items off the checklist as you complete them. You can also add relevant documents as attachments. Any comments that you add to the task card will be seen by others who have been added to the task. This is especially helpful to anyone working on the task or your manager.
- Once you have completed the task, you can comment that you have finished. Only set the progress to completed if you have been instructed. Some tasks will be re-used for others.
